Onboarding Guide

Review onboarding materials

Access the onboarding folder [here] to familiarize yourself with company policies, payment forms, service agreements, and work expectations.

Submit the New Hire form

Complete the [New Hire Form] to finalize your payment setup and system registration. This step is mandatory.

Set up Sage HR

Access Sage HR details [here] and download the mobile app for convenience.

Prepare for your first day

Your hiring manager will either:
- Send a calendar invite for a Day 1 meeting, or
- Reach out directly via email (check your inbox and spam folder).Stay alert for communications to ensure a seamless start.

Time-Off Policy

Paid leave, holidays, and flexibility guidelines.

Categories

- PTO (Paid Time Off)
- UTO (Unpaid Time Off)
- Sick Days: Paid/unpaid status depends on manager approval.
- Holidays: Generally paid (subject to manager approval).

Approval Process

Request in Advance:
- Submit requests to your direct manager at least 2 weeks prior.
- Manager confirms whether time off will be paid or unpaid.

Log in Sage HR:
- Input approved time off into Sage HR.
- Attach proof of approval (e.g., screenshot/email) if required.

Special Notes:
- Avoid PTO during your first 90 days to minimize onboarding disruption.
- Clients may have additional policies; always confirm with your manager.

Covered Circumstances

Applies to all time off, including:
- Holidays, sick days, bereavement, marriage, etc.
- All require prior approval to determine paid/unpaid status.

Referral Program

How to recommend talent and earn rewards.

How It Works

- Submit Referrals: [Use this form] to register candidates.
- Earn $100: After referral completes 3 months of active work.

Rules

- One bonus per referred professional (first-time Simera contractors only).
- Confirm tenure via email to success@simera.me; paid next cycle (15th/month-end).

Payments Process

Everything you need for payroll and account setup. For specific question, reach out to payroll@gelevate.com

How and When You Get Paid

- Payment Partner: All Simera professionals are paid through Towerbank.
- Opening your Bank Account: You will receive all the necessary forms via email.
- Global Card: Once you are all set, your card will be delivered to your residence.
- Pay Dates:
     - 15th and last day of each month.
     - If dates fall on weekends, payments are processed the preceding business day.
- Payment Breakdown: Detailed payroll email sent after each pay date.

Temporary Payments (During Account Setup)

Provide alternate bank details for international wire transfers to payroll@gelevate.com

Note:
- Ensure accurate information to avoid delays.
- International wires may incur fees from your bank/intermediaries.

Important Policies

- Commissions/Bonuses: Paid within 1 business day of fund receipt.
- Inquiries/Corrections: Addressed within 48 business hours.
- Accepted processing methods:
     - Towerbank accounts (primary).
     - Wise accounts (for international wires only).
- Fees: Your bank / intermediary banks may charge fees for international wires.

Pro tips:
- All documents must be valid.
- Do not crop the photos or obscured details.
- Avoid having fingers on the frame.
- Avoid shadows or highlights that may obscure the information.
- No more than 50MB per photo.

Portrait
Direct camera view, solid background, no glasses/jewelry/filters.

Passport
Valid passport data page. (PNG of JPG format)

Government ID
Capture both the front and back of your identification card. (PNG of JPG format)

Utility Bill
Recent bill (electricity/water/WiFi) showing your full address.

Signature
Must match your passport and government ID.
